It is in the heart of the Vosges du Nord regional natural park, in the charming village of La Petite Pierre, located on a pink sandstone spur in the middle of a beautiful and large fir forest, that the 2022 session of the APEV training was held, on October 13 and 14, and which approximately 35 participants followed diligently.
As usual, conviviality and good humor were the key words of these two studious days during which the trainees were presented not only the basics of enameling on steel and cast iron, but also very current subjects such as treatment of enameling effluent or the evolution of food and health standards. More original themes such as artistic and jewelry enameling were also presented.
They ended with a very interesting visit to Emaillerie Rhénane in Ingwiller, a specialist in enameling on cast iron, stainless steel and steel for the household appliances sectors (in particular Lacanche, its main shareholder, but also La Cornue), architecture and signage. We would like to thank MM René and Olivier Grémaux for organizing this visit and their warm welcome reflecting their passion for the profession of enameling.
